The Fates Of 5 Famous People Who Wore Hoodies
Unless you've been living under a rock, then you've heard about the Trayvon Martin case that has been all over the news the past week or so. As it turns out, Trayvon Martin, age 17, was shot and killed by a neighborhood watchman because he looked suspicious. The 17 year old black male was walking home and wearing a hoodie when the incident occurred. According to Geraldo Rivera, the hoodie was equally responsible for Treyvon's death as the gun because hoodies depict the African-American or Latino wearer as a thug and a threat to ordinary citizens. Never mind the fact that Geraldo is Latino and has been seen on more than one occasion wearing a hoodie, himself. This article of clothing is what did the young man in. So it got me to thinking that Geraldo just might be right. Here is a list of five famous people who wore hoodies. They fared about as well as Trayvon Martin, too. My advice, don't wear a hoodie if you want to stay alive. However, you can decide that decision for yourself...
ANNE BOLEYN
Here we see Anne Boleyn, the second wife of King Henry VIII and the queen of England between 1533-1536. Henry had dumped his first wife, Catherine of Aragon to be with Anne because he wanted to have a son and it wasn't happening with Cathy. After three years with this woman, however, and three miscarriages, Henry had enough with Anne and started dating Jane Seymour (the consort, not the actress). What was poor Henry to do, though. Divorce wasn't really something the public could handle in the 1500's and Henry had already done it once before. It was then that Henry the VIII caught Anne wearing this French hood, so he had her tried for high treason and witchcraft. I mean, seriously, she WAS wearing a hood, so why not? She was beheaded less than a month later and Henry went on to have a child Jane.
KING RICHARD THE LIONHEART
This French-speaking King of England ruled between 1189-1199 and is most famous for being the man that led the Christians into the Third Crusade. Richard was always a rebel. Even though he was the supreme ruler of England, he refused to live there. He'd put on his hoodie and stay in his home in the south of France when he wasn't out fighting a war against the Muslims. It was because of this hoodie that Richard lost his life. First he was arrested by the Duke of Austria while disguised as a Knight's Templar (who also wore hoods while traveling), and then he was shot in the neck by another ambitious watchman who didn't like him hanging around the castle that Richard was besieging. Who says history doesn't repeat itself?
ROBIN HOOD
You've heard the stories. This guy even has the word 'Hood' in his name, so it is no wonder that he will forever be known as an outlaw. The lame stream media has always tried to make you think that this guy is a socialist hero promoting his lifestyle by spreading the wealth of the rich to the poor, but I'm here to tell you he is nothing more than a common, hood-wearing criminal. It's no wonder that half of England was out looking for this thief. He is a noted poacher, highwayman, and murderer who's only goal in life was to suck the lifeblood of the rich for some dubious purpose. You can always tell with these hood-wearers.
OBI-WAN KENOBI
May the Force be with you, my ass! This guy is a leader in the rebellion of the social order of the Empire and it's no wonder. Look at how he's dressed! Kenobi and his cult followers have been a thorn in the side of the Empire's second-in-command for the past 30 years and it is time they put a stop to this. Like a street gang of thugs, this group of "Jedi" like to use witchcraft and glow-in-the-dark shivs to wield their power over the peace-loving citizens of the Empire. It's no wonder Darth Vader had to beat him down as soon as he could confront this common criminal!
JESUS
This Middle Eastern socialist started causing trouble with his free healthcare and food handouts to the poor right around the turn of the first millennia. He went as far as rousing riots by giving the meek the idea that they had some sort of inheritance entitlement and led the Occupy Jerusalem protests which caused the Romans to become involved and then all Hell broke loose. Wearing that hood, do you think that He got what He deserved?

Hoodies are the new capes for superheroes. Just look at Zuckerberg of Facebook. Capes get caught in things as pointed out in movie “The Incredibles”.
