Has The Walking Dead Jumped The Shark?
Spoiler Alert: I love zombies. They are a great horror genre that really became popular in the 1960s with George A. Romero's "Night of the Living Dead" and has persisted to this very day with AMC's "The Walking Dead". While, generally, a zombie movie was a low-budget gore-fest that was enjoyed on a Saturday afternoon, it has grown into a world-wide phenomenon. And that's what has ruined The Walking Dead, in my opinion. The first season was excellent. The second season, just so-so. All they did was look for Sophia who was in a barn the whole season. How did Herschel and his family NOT put together they were feeding a young girl zombie that they didn't know, while strange visitors on their farm were out looking for a young girl that they didn't know? Bull. This season is even worse. The Walking Dead jumped the shark. I'm still waiting for Daryl Dixon to skateboard over twenty zombies while shooting a crossbow in each hand. That's how ridiculous it has become...What do you think?

If you are a fan of zombies, you know that zombie movies are always popular, no matter how badly they are made. The good ones: 28 Days Later, The Walking Dead, and Night of the Living Dead are great! Somehow, along the way, people have taken these movies to an extreme and are acting like zombies themselves! It's all come about within the last month, too, which makes you wonder if something isn't awry... You'll have to decide for yourself, but these stories are definitely creepy and all together true.
