Five Regrettable Sports Moments in 2010
The world of sports in 2010 has been very exciting. We got to see the Lakers go back to back in the NBA Finals, the Saints win their very first Super Bowl, and we saw too very unlikely teams battle it out in the World Series (I'm still destroyed by the Rangers losing!) That being said, for all of the good moments in sports, there is a handful of blunders that leave us scratching our heads. Here are five moments in sports this past year that would be re-done if possible. Read more...

Origins Of Christmas Words
Every year we go through the Christmas season saying these words that we don't use any other time of the year. We say these things because our parents said them and we heard them in Church or in school. Honestly, though. Have you ever asked yourself "Why the heck am I saying these things?" I know I never knew what they meant. There has to be some source of all the madness, so here are some answers for you. Pass these along to your friends and look really smart around the water cooler. Read more...

Five Movie Monsters People Actually Believed In
Believe it or not, people actually used to believe in monsters! Just like the ones you see in the movies, these are the creatures people in ancient times (and not-so-ancient times) thought to actually exist. While monsters may not be real, they can still affect the way people think and react to an unknown danger. Today, for the most part, the only monsters we have to read about are the ones on Halloween or those that make the crime section of our newspapers. Here are the origins of five monsters that were very real to some people. Read more...

Five Things Archaeologists Told Us That Were Wrong
Archaeologists have been telling us for years about how things work. They tell us that the dinosaurs were around, died out, then came man, and so on... If this is the case, then how do these anomalies exist? This stuff shouldn't even be possible from what we've been told. Could it be that we've been lied to all of our lives because some things don't fit into the way things are "supposed to be"? Find out about these five strange discoveries that aren't supposed to exist: Read more...

Pre-Mature 2010 NFL Predictions
Since the NFL moved the Pro Bowl a week before the Super Bowl, the Saints beating the Colts to earn their very first Super Bowl title means we have to wait until to September for more football. Depending on what goes on during free agency and the draft, we can expect to see some of the same teams up at the top, and the lousy teams still feeding on the bottom (cough, Rams, Buccaneers, Browns, Lions, cough). Well, here are some of my pre-mature NFL predictions for next season. Read more...
