Five Reasons John Wayne Should Have Fired His Agent

John WayneI really like John Wayne.  He's one of my all-time favorite classic actors.  He's responsible for some of the best westerns and war movies ever made and I've spoken highly of his work in the past.  Going through his filmography though, I've noticed some very serious blemishes on his otherwise stellar career.  What was his agent thinking when he suggested these movies to the Duke?  It's films like these that Ben Affleck and Matt Damon have problems with!  The following five movies were real stinkers when it came to the Duke's acting career.  The films were all very B-rated (except for one and Wayne was slumming when he accepted the role) and his acting proved that he just didn't care.  Can you think of any worse films that John Wayne starred in? Five Best John Wayne Films

John WayneJohn Wayne was one of the most beloved actors in American cinema.  He epitomized rugged masculinity and has become an enduring American icon. He is famous for his distinctive voice, walk and height. In 1999, the American Film Institute named Wayne 13th among the Greatest Male Stars of All Time.  John Wayne was born with a very non-tough guy name (Marion Robert Morrison), but he often went by his nickname, The Duke, which he earned by walking his Airedale Terrier dog with the same name.  He started acting in 1926, where he played an extra in various football movies.  They weren't so good, but here are five of the really good films Wayne made.
