Charles Bronson is the archetypal tough guy who's career spanned six decades. He's been compared to a rougher Clark Gable who was left out in the sun a little too long. Born in Pennsylvania to Lithuanian-born parents, he originally went by his birth name of Charles Buchinsky, until officially changing his name to Bronson which he took from the Bronson Gates in Hollywood.
