2009 Origins: Five Best Fantasy Movies
I spent the last week at the 2009 Origins Game Fair (June 24-28, 2009) in Columbus, Ohio, where I got the opportunity to interview game designers, organizers, and fans about the games and movies they love to play and watch. When asked about Fantasy movies, our crew at Origins had a hard time picking their favorites. A fantasy movie consists of sword and sorcery, typically in a medieval time period, but it could be any type of film with magic and witchcraft. After much thought, our poll takers came up with over forty different films, but we only take the top five. Here is their list:
