Five Real People Songs Were Named After
Most songs have some meaning behind them. It can be about how the songwriter is feeling at the time, a topical news story, or a person that they know. The songs below are the latter. These songs are written about real people who were close to the songwriter. These songs have a special meaning to them and it shows in the personal value we listen to these hits.

Five Best Front Men of All Time
These are in my opinion the five greatest lead singers in rock and roll history. They must be part of an established band. I base this on charisma, stage presence, voice and all around coolness.
1: Roger Daltrey (The Who)
The swinging microphone and his blue eyes say it all. His vocal range during the early years and the battles with Pete Townshend and the friction that it created, made magic on the stage. Roger is numero uno. Viva La Who!

2: Freddie Mercury (Queen)
Who knew? The leather bound mustache macho man could sing like no one else. He owned the floor and was a tough prima donna. He is missed. He was adored and he is number two.
3: Mick Jagger (The Rolling Stones)
Not necessarily my favorite but he is still prancing around today with his incredible bandmates. So many imitators over the years and many are gone. The Mickster still looks and sounds great. A true professional.
4: Jim Morrisson (The Doors)
Sex, drugs and rock and roll and more sex, drugs and rock and roll. He was a poet, a drunk, a druggie, a great songwriter, a brilliant mind. Died way too young. One of the most charismatic lead singers of all time.
5: Stevie Nicks/Lindsey Buckingham (Fleetwood Mac)
A ha! Well.. Stevie is Fleetwood Mac but so is Lindsey and so was Christie McVie I guess. It is a tie between Stevie and Lindsey. Again, chemistry/chaos. Awesome presence, fantastic vocals, legendary songs and one of the best guitarists ever.
These will always be subject to change depending on my mood. That is what is so brilliant about this site. This was a lot of fun to do. I will however, always keep Roger at numero uno. He deserves the spot.
