Best Fantasy Rock Band Of The Fifties
It was the Golden Age of Rock n' Roll. It was a time before the music died (which was exactly 53 years ago today, as of this writing). If you could put together a fantasy rock n' roll band, who would be in it? The requirements would have to be people who played between 1950-1959. Let us know who would make your Fantasy Rock Band! Read more...
5 Groups Passed Over By The Rock Hall
Last year I wrote a list on five bands or performers that should have made it into the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame (http://myfivebest.com/5-bands-forgotten-by-the-rock-n-roll-hall-of-fame/). Many people were upset because bands like Rush and KISS didn't make it (and they still haven't). These bands have been influential in the history of Rock n' Roll and possibly should have been inducted before bands like Abba and the Beastie Boys. Of course, that is my opinion. Who do you think should make it into the Rock Hall? While I still stand behind last year's list of the overlooked, here are five more bands that should be considered for a spot in this Cleveland landmark.
Do you agree with these groups and singer/songwriters? How is it possible that these groups have been passed over by the Rock Hall?
