President Obama Is My Favorite Conservative
You read that right. President Obama is my favorite conservative - at least in the 21st century. I know Fox News and the Tea Party keep telling you that he's a Marxist and a Socialist...and Communist...but that is all rhetoric. President Obama is actually a moderate Republican who just happens to be the leader of the Democratic Party. Don't believe me? Did Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck tell you something different? Believe it or not, just because you consider yourself a Republican or fiscal conservative, you don't have to despair. In fact, you're in luck! The country just elected a moderate Conservative just like ol' Ronald Reagan used to be! Let's look at some of the clues to our President's secret leanings to the Right...

Five Poorest U.S. Presidents
When most of us think about the Presidents of the United States, we think about rich people who spend the rest of their lives living off of book deals and speaking engagements. However, this is not so. Many Presidents had problems making ends meet and some of them actually went bankrupt! They were the poorest U.S. Presidents. Everyone who become President is not a millionaire or independently wealthy. Here are five of our leaders who almost literally lived in the poor house.
Ted Nugent Threatens Obama. Lands In Hot Water.
Right-Wing, Second Amendment nut job Ted Nugent made the news again. As you might have heard, on April 16, 2012, Nugent made some threatening comments to President Obama and the Democratic leadership at the NRA Convention. I am not against the Second Amendment. I think we all should have the right to bear arms. However, when you are talking to a crowd of people who are gun waving members of a group that hates this Presidency and you try to incite emotions of homicide, you are not outspoken. You are an ass. What do you think?
5 Rules For Hanging The Flag At Half Staff
Over the past week I have read many complaints toward New Jersey Governor Chris Christies' request to have the United States flag flown at half mast in honor of singer/actress Whitney Houston. People have stated that she is undeserving of the honor or have questioned why we don't do this for the soldiers or the uniformed officers who protect us every day. On this President's Day, here are a few things defining the rules for hanging the flag at half staff. Note: whether the flag is flown at half mast at government offices in New Jersey is none of my business. That is for the state of New Jersey to decide. No one is forcing you to fly the flag at half mast. Your opinion on the matter is your own and this article is not to sway you to one way or the other. Personally, I liked Whitney Houston's music and I respect her as an artist. I think having the flag lowered throughout the state of New Jersey may have been over-reaching. What do you think? The GOP In Review: 2011 Edition
Well, 2011 is over and all I can say is "Oh, that crazy Grand Ol' party!" How you kept things interesting for us all in 2011. You made us laugh, you made us cry. Hopefully, you made us all understand the importance of voting for people who want to work for the people instead of pushing their own private agenda. Remember the promise that we needed smaller government and politicians that worked for the people? I am not certain that all of the items on this list do that, but they are entertaining. Here is the GOP in review: 2011 edition. Read more...
