Other Events That Happened On 9/11

William WallaceWhen most of us think about the date, September 11th, we immediately think of the events that occurred on September 11th, 2001.  On this day, terrorists commandeered four commercial jets and attacked the United States.  However, more things are associated with 9/11.  We just think of the terrorist strike because it is the most recent events and is drilled into our heads by the news media.  If you are tired about being reminded of this fateful day in U.S. history, you might want to look at other events that occurred on this date. Five Things You Didn’t Know About Braveheart

William WallaceThe movie Braveheart (1995) was on and I started looking into the background of that movie.  If you’ve never seen it (and I don’t know how you could have missed it, since it is on television every five minutes), the story is about William Wallace, a 13th century Scottish warrior who helped to free Scotland from English rule.  It stars Mel Gibson as the title character and has a virtual cornucopia of bloodshed and mayhem.  But was it true to history or did they just make some of the stuff up?
