Books Like The Hunger Games
The Hunger Games recently came out on the silver screen and it has been an enormous hit. The movie comes from a trilogy of books by author, Suzanne Collins. The basic premise is set in a post-apocalyptic world in the country of Panem (a future North America). In this world, 12 boys and 12 girls are chosen each year to participate in a competition where only one can survive. The entire event is televised and the winner gets food and necessities for their district. Despite being written for children, the books and the movie have caught the country by storm.
