Last night, we were sitting around talking about great movies and someone brought up that some really good films never won an Oscar. Some of the ones on the list were really astonishing, because you would think that these would have been a shoe in for the Oscar award. Some of their problems were just bad timing with another iconic film. Others...well...who knows what the Academy was thinking? Not only are these films all-time classics, but you'd never believe they lost. Please note: Avatar and Twilight are NOT on this list - nor should they be.
