Five Greatest College Football Coaches. Ever.

[ReviewAZON name=”jopa” id=”49″ display=”inlinepost” asin=”1600786154″ trackingid=”mywebsource1-20″ country=”us” width=”200px” float=”left” imagetop=”10px”]With the passing of Joe Paterno from Penn State this Sunday, college has lost another of its greatest football coaches.  Joe Paterno will go down in history as being one of the ten best coaches of all time.  His 406-136-3 record (74%) over a 46 year career at Penn State holds the record for the most victories by an NCAA Division coach. ” JoePa”, as he was nicknamed, led five undefeated teams to championships in his career and was one of only three coaches to be inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.  He will be sorely missed.  While Joe Paterno was certainly a great coach, who were the five Greatest College Football Coaches of all time? This list is merely an opinion and not based on just statistics, but here’s who I would consider “the best”. Who would you add? Am I full of it? I’d love to hear your opinion. Read more…

5 Best Football Movies Of All Time Based On Real Life

Football in the moviesWith football season just beginning, there are a lot of movies out right now celebrating this great sport.  These movies typically show the ability to overcome weaknesses and endure, no matter what the odds.  Like baseball movies, they generally are well-loved by their fans and watched over and over again.  As for me, I can never get enough of them.  The remote control always stops on one of these all-time favorites.  Here are five of my best choices.  Note: I only chose serious football movies.  Comedy football movies are a whole other topic.  These are just the ones that create a source of accomplishment and good feeling. Five Famous Leprechauns

leprechaunWhile we are a week away from St. Patrick’s Day, I thought I would be a good idea to take a look at some guys that help drive the holiday, Leprechauns. Leprechauns are known to be small, potato loving, shoe making, magical mischevious people who love their gold (or in some cases, cereal)  more than anything.
