Famous People With Extra Fingers And Toes
People with extra fingers and toes have something that is known as Polydactylism, which means “many fingers”. It is a mutation that rarely occurs, and, even then, is often without bones or joints. While most people don’t have this condition, it has occurred in a few famous people throughout history. Many of you may remember Count Rugen (played by Christopher Guest) in the “Princess Bride” (1987) was known as the six-fingered man. Although, not portrayed in the movie, Thomas Harris’ character, Hannibal Lector, is also supposed to have an extra finger. The following people aren’t fictional characters, though. They are real-life celebrities with extra fingers or toes - or both!

As it turns out, Trayvon Martin, age 17, was shot and killed by a neighborhood watchman because he looked suspicious. The 17 year old black male was walking home and wearing a hoodie when the incident occurred. According to Geraldo Rivera, the hoodie was equally responsible for Treyvon's death as the gun because hoodies depict the African-American or Latino wearer as a thug and a threat to ordinary citizens.
