Five Activities for the Adrenaline Junkie’s To Do List
For some people, riding a huge roller coaster just doesn’t cut it for their adrenaline needs. Some people need to push the limits. They need to know that one false move and their life is over. Here are five things that adrenaline junkies must try.
Skydiving – Is there anything that can top skydiving if you are wanting to get the best adrenaline rush? Nope. I can’t imagine the feeling that sky divers have as they are free falling towards Earth. They can flip, roll, or just spread out their arms and legs and take it all in.
BASE Jumping - BASE (Building, Antenna, Span (bridges), Earth) jumping is one of the ultimate experience for people who love to get their adrenaline pumping. The concept is to parachute from a fixed object, usually one of the objects mentioned above. There is actually a two part adrenaline rush for BASE jumpers in most cases. The obvious part is the actual jump, but in a lot of cases, jumpers don’t have permission to jump from their desired location. So if somebody wants to jump from the top of Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, then they will need to sneak to their desired spot and take flight.
Running With The Bulls - Ya, this one doesn’t sound like the smartest thing in the world to do, but running in the Running of the Bulls sure will get the adrenaline flowing. You, a lot of other people, and very annoyed and angry bulls chasing you through the streets of Pamplona. Each year hundreds are injured and sometimes people are fatally injured.
Bungee Jumping - Now this is one of the thing that I have actually done. It was a wild a crazy experience and it was really scary, but I think I would do it again. Something about free falling until a giant bungee cord catches you and jolts you back up really gets the blood flowing.
White Water Rafting - White water rafting is another amazing experience that I have been lucky to do. When I say white water rafting, I mean some serious rapids, no baby stuff. You always want to make sure that you have some people with experience on that raft with you because a few ill advised moves and you could be planted into some jagged rocks, while the river keeps pounding you. Oh the adrenaline rush!
